Round #03 Thunder Valley- EdJe Chainlinks Race Recap!

Posted on Jun 11th, 2019, 7:04pm EST

Well then, Just off the Hawaiian Supercross KathieHawaii surfed her way up to Colorado with J(Road to Hanna)41 in tow, for round 3 of the 2019 MX series. Annnnnnd then there was Nelso, who for the 2nd week in a row has found hermself on the 3rd step of the podium. One would think that Nelso should be leading the overall point series by now but herm's not. Please dont take offense to my use of gender recognition as I really have no idea who Nelso is or who anybody is for that matter. Just trying to have some fun here. Now any of you could make a comment and then we could all get a glimpse of who you are behind these ever so clever sign on's.

Now then, Big383 grabbed the holeshot on his highly illegal big bore 383 service dirt bike and walked away with moto #1. Chrislynnmx would keep the Big383 in check but was unable to grab the moto win. Moto 2 would find Big383 out front again with Chrislynnmx in tow. Nelso was just a lurking slightly behind the 2 but was well aware of Kathiehawaii on her Sunomi sufboards backed ride with Jhanna41 twisting gribs and blowing berms behind her. Chrisly(knows best)nnmx did know best and started to real in Big383 but cross rutted and jumped off the track. Chrislynnmx would wonder around aimlessly for 2 laps trying find a safe way onto the track "not to gain any ground on Big383 and to enter the track safely". Chrislynnmx would pull onto the track next to Big383, the two would slow to a small conversation that ended in a high 5 and a thumbs up resulting in Chrislynnmx slowing allowing Big383 to regain the lead he had before Chrislynnmx's off track excursion. On lap 383 Big383 would give the nod, side saddle the big bore, and ride it for 7.6 second before driving it into the dirt ending in a non qualified ride. Chislynnmx would make the pass and go on for the win in moto 2 and the overall. Nelso would fend off several hang 10 attacks from kathiehawaii and twisy Jhanna41 to claim 3rd overall for the 2nd week in a row. Kathiehawaii would grab 4th and Jhanna41 would wind, twist, and turn for 5th overall.

On the podium Big383 expressed his frustrations with Chrislynnmx's off track excursion claiming he jumped the track, cut the corner, entered in an unsafe manner nearly cleaning him out, and feels he should still get credit for the overall. After watching the replay and strict orders from his Team Manager Big383 would loose his appeal and remain in 2nd for the weekend.

In the end Chrislynnmx did know best and is your overall series point leader with Nelso in 2nd.

Take a weekend off and we'll see you at High Point.

Round #02 - Fox Raceway - EdJe Chainlinks Race Recap!

Posted on May 30th, 2019, 8:03pm EST

In the wake of James Stewart's "total surprise" retirement announcement some may find themselves scratching their heads wondering what to do next. Well, flat out, we go racing! And for those of you who have been trying week in and week out to pick him for your fantasy league, I'm sorry to say but the show must go on! Rest assured he will not be showing up in your line up as yes, James Stewart has retired,,,,,, unofficially 3 years ago,,,,,,,, but officially,,,,,,, roughly 2 weeks ago,,,,,,or,,,,,,,,,,,,,um,,,,,,,,,,,ok thats done,,,,,, onto the racing!

The gate dropped at the 2nd round of the 2019 series brought to you by Say that fast 10 times. Danker would take the early lead and settle into a medium pace while Redrider382 and Nelso would keep a close eye on him. AirChairDave and Twistedmx138 started picking their way through the pack and appeared to be headed to the front. On lap 138 AirChairDave would crosswake, land on Twistedmx138 and put his skag right through Twisted's spokes. Berno would sneak by as did Cody105. AirChairDave would grab a tow from Coleshots but both would fall just outside the top 5 or as my friend Moser would stay just SHORT. Up front on lap 382 RedRider382 would make a pass on Danker, Danker would re-pass Redrider for the lead as Nelso would move into 2nd. Redrider382 would pass Nelso for 2nd then Danker fell back to 3rd handing Redrider382 the lead. On the last lap Danker would move back past both Redrider382 and Nelso to regain the lead. Nelso was unable to get back past Redrider382 and would land on the podium for the weekend. Danker would go on for the win with Redrider382 coming across in 2nd. Cody105 would finish 4th with Berno rounding out the top 5. I need a beer after that, wait, I may have already had a couple, if you haven't, then have one or 3 and that race might make more sense!

Redrider382 has taken over the overall series points lead and will roll the red plate next week at Thunder Valley. Twistedmx138 turnt in a good enough finish at Pala and now sits a close 2nd while Nelso occupies the #3 spot in the series.

Top pick's this past weekend were Jacob Hayes and Jordan Smith where Smith didnt help anybody out posting a whopping 9 points on the weekend.

Annnnd that's all for now, see you at Thunder Valley!

If you have any thoughts or requests, please feel free to comment, this could be fun! Congrats to Danker for the overall win and Redrider382 for taking over the points lead.

Thanks for tuning in!

Round #01 - Hangtown - EdJe Chainlinks Race Recap!

Posted on May 22nd, 2019, 9:49pm EST

And just like that, the opening round of the 2019 Motocross Fantasy Motocross League at Hangtown is in the books. After a long weekend of racing its time for a little R&R. What I mean by that is your all new for 2019 Race Recap. Each week I'll be coming to you live, most likely from my couch, or office, possibly a few days after the race, to give you my take on what went down, highlights, low lights, and I promise to try not and offend anyone. However, I'm not too concerned with spelling, grammar, or proof reading either but hopefully you'll tune in!

So lets start off a little conservative in that there was no sign of our 2019 Motocross Fantasy Supercross Champion TeamGreen383. My guess is he is on one of those "Supercross Only" contracts or afraid to get this new bike dirty. None the less Congrats to TeamGreen383 for the Supercross Championship and on to this past weekend.

Steveswhoops would grab the holeshot in moto 1 with madracing in tow. Mid-way through lap 1 BBMX545 would pedal by both madracing and Stevewhoops on the outside, and would never look back . The biggest surprise however is that he did it on a BMX bike or a BBMX bike. We caught up with BBMX545 after moto 1 an all he had to say was he was pretty tired. With the rain in the forecast we were all a little curious how he would fair in the mud. Ascend_Racing would come out swinging in Moto 2 grabbing an early lead but would descend a few spots back to 4th. TwoStroke381 would ring a ding ding ding ding into the lead but BBMX545 would once again pedal his way up front. On lap 381 TwoStroke381 would regain the lead for a split second but would foul a plug and drop back to 5th. Steveswhoops would move by BBMX545 and take over the lead and would go onto win Moto2. Madracing was not even mad that he would come out of the opener with 4th overall on the day but he was a little mad that a last lap pass would keep him off the box for the weekend. Ascend_Racing would ascend into 3rd overall for the weekend while BBMX545 would cross the checkers in style with an off axis, double back flip, 360 tail whip to grab the overall win at Hangtown.

Congrats to BBMX545 on the overall win at the season opener and we'll see you guys and gals on the gate next weekend.

Joining a Series - Bench Racing Divisions

Posted on May 14th, 2019, 1:19pm EST

Hey Guys, In the past you could only join 1 Bench racing division unless the Admin manually added you to another one. We opened it up so anyone can join as many as you want. The problem with that is, if you join the same bench racing division twice it will duplicate your name in that division. So please only join it once. once you go through the process and join a division, you will be joined. We are working on starting the "Drop Round - Test Race" Right now so it jump starts the MX series and then everyone can view what divisions they are in.
